Scholarships

Let's be honest, college is expensive. Even after applying for and receiving financial aid, you may still owe money to your institution. The scholarship search can be a very daunting process. This page includes some helpful steps and tips on applying for and completing scholarship applications. I can also be a helpful resource for you when looking for scholarships. Make an appointment with me to talk about searching and applying for scholarships.

Step 1 - Searching for Scholarships:

1. Scholarship Databases - Scholarship databases are kind of like a Google search engine for scholarships. They have a plethora of scholarships that you can search for based on the different identities that you have. E.g. scholarships based on extracurricular activities you are a part of, year in school, major/area of interests, etc. College Greenlight is a great example of a scholarship database.
